- What is the difference between Serentiy Storage and Self storage?

The main difference between Serenity Storage and traditional self-storage is that we provide full service for moving in, moving out, and ongoing storage. Customers only have to deal with one company. We also keep an inventory of the items in storage so you know exactly what’s there. We store your items in stay wrap with moving pads for the duration of the storage time to protect them for the long haul unlike mini storage, in which the movers take off the padding, making items vulnerable to damage.

- How long is the lease term?

How long you stay is up to you; there is no minimum time requirement for a storage lease.

- What documentation do I need for renting storage space?

All you need to rent a storage space from Serenity Movers is an ID.

- Do I have to sign a long-term lease?

No, you don’t have to sign a long-term lease. In fact, our storage space is available for very short-term leases, which are extremely helpful during moves. If your new apartment isn’t quite ready, store your things with us until it’s convenient for you to move in.

- How do I pay for my storage space?

You can conveniently pay for your storage fee with a credit card.

- Do I have to pay a deposit for storage space?

No, you don’t have to pay a deposit for your storage space. We simply charge by the cubic foot–no more, no less

- How do I transport my items to storage?

You don’t have to worry about transporting your items to storage because we take care of that for you! All you have to do is schedule a pick-up time, and we’ll take care of the rest.

- Can I come take a few items out at a time?

Your storage items are always available to you when you need them. Just contact us to arrange a time to retrieve them.

- How do I know how much storage space I'll need?

When we meet with you to give you a quote, we’ll go through your list of items and tell you how much space you’ll need.

- Do I need to bring my own lock?

No, you don’t need to bring your own lock to Serenity Movers storage. We provide all the security measures needed to keep your belongings safe and secure.

- Are there any items I am not allowed to store?

Yes, we cannot store liquids, chemicals, or food in our storage facility. These items pose problems for other customers and compromise the safety and security of our facility. If you have any questions about specific items, feel free to contact us and ask about them.

- Do you have dollies I can use?

Yes, we have dollies you can use.

- Do I need my own insurance?

You have the option of purchasing your own insurance if you would like it. We recommend checking with your renters or homeowners insurance policy to see if you already have insurance for your belongings while they’re in storage. - How can I access my stuff?

You can access your stuff by simply making an appointment to retrieve it.

- Are there any temperature controlled storage units?

Yes, we offer temperature controlled storage. If you have items that require temperature control, be sure to mention it when you receive your free quote.

- Do you have any storage promotions?

Yes, we do offer storage promotions. We frequently offer promotions and tips on how to save on storage costs.

- Who has access to my storage space?

You are the only person who has access to your storage space unless you authorize a third party to access it for you. If you want to give someone permission to access your storage, please make arrangements with us.

- How much notice do I need to give for reserving storage space?
